As a senior HR Business Partner, you will be part of the u-blox HR core team at corporate headquarters in Thalwil, Switzerland and report to our global Head of HR. You will be responsible for our business lines production, logistics and quality, and for our staff functions (finance, legal, strategy). You will work closely with your different stakeholders (Executive Committee members), their management team and the different line managers to develop and execute the HR strategy for your assigned teams and regions. By ensuring the timely availability of the needed human resources you enable the organization to reach the overall goals.

Your responsibilities
  • Build business partner relationships and be the main interface between HR and the functions identifying and interpreting the needs of the business.
  • Provide integrated and customer-focused solutions by working jointly with the HR Management and the Centre of Expertise (CoEs).
  • Accurately diagnose organizational issues, develop potential solutions, and recommend changes to management as appropriate to retain and motivate employees.
  • Accountable for the recruiting and selection of the right candidate and work closely with the Line Managers to get the best talent in the organization.
  • Ensure competitive remuneration based on compensation and benefit guidelines and processes.
  • Define talent needs, support leaders to forecast, plan their workforce and talent pipeline requirements in line with the function or business strategy.
  • Assist leaders in providing employees with development opportunities that align with current and future business requirements.
  • Collaborate with other HR BPs and colleagues in CoEs to deliver tailored solutions for specific customer needs.
  • Be an agent of our corporate values and leadership behaviors to foster our corporate culture of collaboration.
Your Skills and Experience
  • 8+ years of increasing responsibility in a comparable HR assignment, preferable in a technical, industrial or IT Company
  • Master’s in Business Administration, HR or OD, or similar
  • Experience in multiple human resource disciplines including: Talent management (advanced), organizational development and effectiveness (advanced) and employee engagement
  • Strong business acumen with proven ability to envision, develop, and implement new strategies to address competitive and complex business issues
  • Profound knowledge of the HR landscape Switzerland
  • Strong command in human and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and self-reliant personality
  • Highly people oriented and goal-oriented work attitude
  • Team player and open-minded personality
  • Fluent in German and English
