Position Title: Senior Standards Engineer
In this technology role you will be looking into the future of V2X communications and will be at the forefront of our company’s contribution to the standardization activities and innovation on products for 5G and beyond.

You will be involved with the definition of new products, making sure that they are in line with existing and new standards. You will help in disseminating our technology through white papers or presentations to global forums as well as extending our IP portfolio. In this role, you will have the opportunity to travel around the world and work together with global experts in this exciting and fast-moving field.

Your Responsibilities
  • Actively participating in and contributing to standardization activities on current and next-generation V2X (IEEE, 3GPP, ETSI, Car-2-Car, SAE etc.)
  • Development and evaluation of technical contributions through theoretical analysis and simulation
  • De-briefing of information to internal stakeholders
  • Preparation of contribution documents, presentations and white papers
  • Proposing and participating in the definition of specifications of future product development
  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Willingness to travel (up to 25% of time)
  • 3+ years of experience with standardization activities (IEEE, 3GPP, ETSI, etc.)
  • Excellent understanding of digital wireless communication systems and signal processing
  • Familiarity with PHY/MAC design and simulation (MATLAB, Simulink) for a major wireless standard (LTE, WLAN)
  • Self-motivated, proactive and excellent team player
  • Greek or EU or Schengen area citizen or holder of a valid Greek work permit
Bonus points
  • PhD in Wireless Communications
  • Solid understanding of DSRC and C-V2X technologies
  • German speaking
